No you don't understand. I'm an Oppo alumn. I've been with the forum for years and I've seen this time and again. This shit is cyclical. Every year some major topic boils over and causes mass quitting and bannings. Naturally there's a huge change in the population base here, as the people leaving are replaced by an influx of new writers, but at least half of the people who swore up and down that they will never touch this site again end up returning.
